Kosa observation

7.2.13 Kosa observation

Kosa events are visually observed and recorded as a lithometeor by the manned meteorological stations and weather stations. They are defined as a phenomenon in which a significant volume of dust originating mainly from the Loess Plateau in the continent covers the whole sky and falls toward the ground. In an extreme case, the sky looks yellow, the sun shines dim, snow on the ground is colored and the ground is covered with dust.
